so, how can you heal with
GREENHOUSE PSYCHOTHERAPY?

THERAPY FOR:
Birth Trauma
& Postpartum Mental Health
Postpartum and motherhood can bring immense joy, but they can also present unique emotional and psychological challenges, especially for those who have experienced birth trauma. Specialized care for mothers during this time is crucial, as it provides tailored support to address the specific needs of new parents.
Therapy offers a safe space to process these experiences, heal from trauma, and address the emotional shifts that often accompany the transition into motherhood.

THERAPY FOR:
Complex Trauma Survivors
For survivors of complex trauma, healing can feel like an overwhelming and often isolating journey. Complex trauma, which typically results from prolonged or repeated exposure to traumatic events, can impact many areas of life—emotions, relationships, and self-worth. Specialized therapy is essential for helping individuals unravel the layers of trauma and begin to understand how these experiences have shaped their present-day thoughts and behaviors.
In a compassionate and non-judgmental space, survivors can work through their pain at their own pace, learning to rebuild trust, reclaim their sense of self, and develop healthier coping strategies. Healing from complex trauma is a process, but with the right support, it’s possible to foster resilience and create a path toward emotional well-being and empowerment.

THERAPY FOR:
Creatives
Creative individuals often think and process in unique, non-linear ways, which means traditional therapeutic methods might not always resonate with their style of thinking.
Innovative mental health therapy techniques—such as art therapy, narrative therapy, or mindfulness practices—can offer creative outlets for expression and problem-solving that feel more natural and engaging. These techniques allow individuals to explore their emotions and challenges in a way that taps into their imagination and creativity, helping to unlock new insights and solutions.

Get to know the Therapist
Hi, fellow self-healer!
I'm Laura, a compassionate and neurodivergent therapist who’s passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I believe in creating a warm, welcoming space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.
As a mother, I understand the balance of juggling responsibilities, and as a creative, I enjoy finding innovative ways to connect with and empower my clients. My approach is rooted in relatability, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping you navigate your unique journey. It is never my job to tell you what to do or how to live your life; rather, I’m here to walk alongside you with kind curiosity, care and understanding.
Outside of therapy, I'm a bit of a crafty soul, always exploring new DIY projects and creative outlets. I am currently working on my own memoir along with some other fun projects that I hope will ultimately benefit my clients.
Whether you are totally new to the idea of therapy or have previously experienced the gift of therapy, I am so glad you're here. This likely means that showing up for yourself in a new way has been on your mind, and oh, what a phenomenal gift that is.
warmly, Laura

WHAT MAKES
GREENHOUSE DIFFERENT?

NARRATIVE EXPOSURE
therapy
Narrative therapy is a way of looking at your life as a story that you have the power to change. Instead of seeing yourself as defined by your problems, this approach helps you explore how you’ve understood your experiences and how those beliefs might be holding you back.
Together, we’ll look at the story you’ve been telling yourself and find ways to shift it—empowering you to see your strengths, rewrite old patterns, and create a life that reflects who you truly are. It’s a collaborative and supportive way to help you overcome challenges, heal from the past, and feel more in control of your future.

Acceptance & Committment
therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an approach that helps you focus on what truly matters to you, even when life gets difficult.
Instead of trying to avoid or fight uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, ACT teaches you to accept them as a natural part of life and work with them. By learning to be present and mindful, you can make choices that align with your values and take meaningful actions, even in the face of challenges.
This therapy helps you stop being controlled by negative emotions and start living a life that reflects your deepest values, fostering greater resilience and a sense of peace.

NEURODIVERGENT Aware
& Affirming
Laura is neurodivergent herself, and is personally and professionally aware of the unique needs of neurodivergent folx.
When a therapist understands the unique ways neurodivergent individuals think, process emotions, and navigate the world, it creates a more compassionate, empathetic, and tailored approach to treatment. This awareness allows the therapist to provide strategies and support that resonate with your specific needs, while also respecting and valuing your neurodivergent perspective.
Tailoring therapeutic approaches to the neurodivergent experience ensures that interventions optimize the likelihood of positive, desired therapeutic outcomes.
